Zhu Jianhui holds a printmaking exhibition

Sponsored by the Chinese Artists’ Association, a printmaking exhibition is unveiled at the National Art Museum of China. The exhibition comprises a total of 42 recent artworks.

Zhu Jianhui is president of Qidong Printmaking Academy, the first Chinese printmaking academy. He is also member of the Chinese Artists’ Association and national first-class artist. He is an influential artist active in the Chinese printmaking circle in recent years. Starting from artistic speculation, the artist makes explanation of spiritual appeal of the traditional culture and presents collision between the reality and the ???. the exhibition reflects the metaphor of the Oriental culture in terms of the connotation of the image. The artworks of the artist have won several prizes in domestic and oversea exhibitions and some artworks have been collected by many artistic museums at home and abroad.

The show opens at Hall 6 since Dec. 20 until Dec. 29.
