A calligraphic exhibition of Wang Qian is unveiled

Sponsored by Research Institute of Culture and History of Liaoning province and Calligraphers’ Association of Liaoning province, a calligraphic exhibition of Wang Qian is currently on display at the National Art Museum of China. The exhibition comprises more than 50 artworks created in the past 10 years by the artist. The artist is skilled in the running and the cursive scripts.  

Born in in 1922 in Haicheng, Liaoning province, Wang Qian is famous scholar, educator, poet and calligrapher as well as professor of the Chinese Department of Liaoning University. The artist held a calligraphic exhibition in Japan and Taiwan respectively in 1992 and 2005. He has published a number of books, such as One Hundred Nice Poem and Meditation on the Life.

The exhibition opens at Hall 3 since Dec. 20 until Dec. 29.
