Zhang Xinquan holds an oil painting exhibition

An exhibition entitled “Tracing · Reappearing” is currently on display at the National Art Museum of China. The exhibition comprises a number of artworks created in recent years. Most of the exhibits, focused on industrial civilization, reflect the products of the industrialization through the oil painting. 

The exhibition comprises a total of 40 artworks. The exhibits adopt the river, the port and the garden as the main elements. The artist intends to bring about profound sense of history and brand-new image through easy and passionate drawing. The artist also makes good use of the realistic technique instead of historical photos. The curator of the exhibition Zhao Li said Zhang Xinquan makes efforts to focus on the relation between the culture and the art and reviewing the history from the perspective of the modern time.

The exhibition opens at Hall 3 since Oct. 26 until Nov. 8.
