An oil painting exhibition is unveiled for centennial anniversary of the 1911 Revolution

Sponsored by China Council for the Promotion of Peaceful National Reunification, Association for Huangpu Military Academy’s Graduates and Society 0f Chinese Modem History, an oil painting exhibition is currently on display at the National Art Museum of China to commemorate the centennial anniversary of the 1911 Revolution. The exhibition showcases more than 200 oil paintings, which reflect the heroes during the 1911 Revolution especially Sun Yat-sen. Previously, nearly one hundred excellent modern artists made great efforts to do research into the country’s modern and contemporary history, relevant documents and files and historical heritages. 

Boasting magnificent momentum and the nation’s soul and patriotism, the exhibits reflect great passion of the people nowadays to the revolution history, the culture and the art in the Chinese modern and contemporary history. The exhibition is hoped to reflect arduous and magnificent process of the revolution and further inspire the people to fight for revitalization and reunification of the nation. 

The exhibition opens at halls on the fifth floor until Oct. 24. Some of the exhibits will go on tour later in Japan and the USA.
