An oil painting exhibition is unveiled for Sun Yat-sen

Sponsored by China Council for the Promotion of Peaceful National Reunification, Students’Association of Huangpu Military Academy and Society 0f Chinese Modem History, an oil painting exhibition is currently on display at the National Art Museum of China to commemorate the centennial anniversary of the 1911 Revolution and Sun Yat-sen. 

The exhibition comprises more than 160 artworks by over 50 outstanding artists across the country. They went to various places for artistic createon, including Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Wuhan, Nanchang, Guangxi and Beijing. The exhibits cover a wide range of themes concerning the 1911 Revolution and Sun Yat-sen.

The exhibition is expected to make exploration in artistic connotation of the traditional Chinese freehand painting and pursue good combination among different topics, including the scenery, the inanimate object, major events and theme. 

The exhibition opens at Hall 19, 20 and 21 since Oct. 13 until Oct. 24.
