The second national art design exhibition entitled “Design ?Productivity” is currently on display at Hall 4, 5, 6,7, 8 and 9 until Nov. 9, 2009. Beijing World Design Congress as well as Beijing International Design Week was unveiled on Oct. 24 in Beijing. Hundreds of designers, scholars attended the unprecedented pageant.

As a special exhibition for the congress, the show provides a vivid representation that how the design stimulates the added value of enterprises’ profit as well as an explanation that the design is the second engine and productivity. It is hoped to arouse the trend of promoting design innovated economy.　 

With the conception of modern design playing a critical role in the chain of product added value, the exhibition proposed the view that the self-innovation of modern design is the productivity of the industrial development. The show intends to explain the great importance of modern design to increasing the added value in the fields of food, clothing, housing and transportation. Thus, the audience can feel its key function in promoting the development of the enterprises and improving the competence. 

The exhibition provides a diversity of audio-visual methods including video, internet, data, diagram and objects in an aim to promote the creative industry to be a new increasing point of the national economy.
