China Association for Promoting Democracy holds an artistic exhibition

Sponsored by China Association for Promoting Democracy, a national calligraphic and painting exhibition entitled in “Celebrating the brilliance” is currently on display at Hall 2, 3 and 5 from July 29 to August 6. In celebration of the 60th New China anniversary and the 60th anniversary of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, the exhibition comprises a total of 200 artworks, including those by previous and incumbent association leaders such as Ma Xulun, Zhou Jianren, Ye Shengtao, Lei Jieqiong, Xu Jialu, Yan Junqi, Bing Xin, Zhao Puchu and Zhang Huaixi. 

Yan Junqi, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress and chairman of China Association for Promoting Democracy, the members in the cultural circle have made a great contribution to promoting the prosperity of the socialist culture. Launched in the opening ceremony on July 29, 2009, Kaiming Art Academy is expected to play a unique role in the artistic circle, such as promoting the cultural exchanges especially across the Straits and boosting the cultural development through excellent achievements.
