Sponsored by China Artists Association and Publicity Department of Guangdong Party Committee, a fine works section of national artistic exhibition is currently on display at Hall 1, 7 and 9 since December 26, 2008 until January 2, 2009.

As a large-scale national comprehensive exhibition, it covers a wide range from the Chinese paintings, oil paintings to engraved paintings, sculptures and watercolor paintings. The sponsors collects a total of 343 pieces of works, including 228 pieces of selected works from 6,000, 67 pieces of outstanding works and 48 pieces of specially-invited works, the last two sections of which are on display in the museum.

Aimed at celebrating the 30th anniversary of the reform and the opening up, the exhibition presents the fruitful achievements and intensive changes across the country especially Guangdong province as well as the rapid progress of national artistic creation.
