Co-sponsored by China Artists Association and Jiangsu Cultural Bureau, 2005-2008 Jinling painting exhibition is on display at Hall 1, 2 and 3 until Dec. 14. Hundreds of officials and artists attended the opening ceremony on Dec. 9, including Huang Mengfu, Vice-Chairman of the CPPCC National Committee and Wang Wenzhang, Vice Minister of the Culture Ministry.

Established in 2005, the exhibition intends to promote the realistic and artistic spirit, show great love and concern to the nature and the livelihood and pursues the aesthetic thoughts of the truth, the virtue and the beauty. The sponsor selected a total of 151 painting, including 40 award-winning paintings from 2005 to 2008, 90 oil paintings and 21 specially-invited paintings in order to provide the public and the artistic circle with the artistic feasts.
