An exhibition, with the concepts of science, art and fashion, is currently on display at Hall 5, 7 and 9 until Nov.16. The exhibition presents educational achievements Beijing Institute of Clothing Technology has made in the past twenty years especially the recent masterpieces created by the teachers.    

With the fashionable design, the show intends to reveal the objective of the institute, namely, combining science, art and fashion and pushing other faculties to higher level. A large number of works won prizes in important competitions at home and abroad. Especially, the institute designed the Beijing Olympic clothing by integrating the Chinese factors with the Olympic spirit, which has been highly praised by International Olympic Committee and domestic and oversea audience.

Taking advantage of its professionalism, the institute combines both the dynamic and the static kinds in the exhibition. The former refers to colorful fashion performance and the latter shows a combination of clothing design, art design and paintings. An academic seminar will be held on Nov. 15 in the hall and a well-arranged fashion show will reach the climax during the exhibition.
