Introduction to the work:
Han Leran is perhaps the very first artist to join Chinese Communist Party. However, his oil painting and watercolor paintings are about the scenery. "Life on the Grassland" is one of the many watercolors he painted during his travel to Tah Temple, Qinghai Province and Labu Temple, Gansu Province in 1945. The painter, with strong emotions and blue penetrating color and simpleSculpture, vividly describes the life of Tibetan people. Wavy hills and smoke under the blue sky forms a poetic atmosphere. He is just what this painting shows- a man who loves life and his motherland.
