Introduction to the work:
Li Xiangqun, was born in Harbin in 1961. He graduated in Lu Xun University of Literature and Arts in 1990 for master degree and now is vice researcher of ChinaSculpture Research Institute.

"Timeless Run" won the special prize of 3rd National Sports Arts Exhibition. This works molds an instant moment of a discus athlete throwing discus. The cross frame is quite different from the classic frame of Discobolus created by Milon. It is simple with humor and full of philosophy and mystery of oriental culture which stands for the trend of young sculptors to reform the traditional ideas.
