Introduction to the work:
A Ge was born in Yuexi County of Sichuan in 1948, and she was of the Yi nationality. He graduated from Sichuan Fine Arts Academy in 1964, and worked for the Sichuan Branch of China Artists Association to the present.

Her works are usually about the life of ethnic groups, mainly women of Yi Nationality. She is good at created black-and-white woodcuts, and her style is fresh, beautiful, and full of national flavor. She was influenced by Xu Kuang in skill. Host was a co-work between she and Xu Kuang, and it won the 1st prize on the 5th National Fine Arts Exhibition. TheSculpture and triangle composition strengthen the power and personality of the Host. There is a strong contrast between black and white, and the cutting style is full of changes.
