In the "May 4th Movement" a hundred years ago, "youth" as a social group obtained the identity and recognition. At the time of national crisis, youth made every effort and made great contribution to social development. After the reform and opening-up, youth, as the main force to reflect on the history and firm the good faith, have become an important force to promote the social development. The Chinese youth of the 20th century set up a glorious image for us. The character of the youth is the character of the society. Although the appearance of the youth changes with the times, what never changes is the carefree and optimistic initiative of the youth. This is the new era that belongs to everyone. In this exhibition, nearly 100 pieces of works are displayed. It is hoped to inspire a new generation of youth to live up to their youth time by combing the situation and character of "youth" from the perspective of Chinese art since New China and demonstrating the overall style of Chinese youth in the 20th century.
