The Exhibition displays workings, literature, writings in different phase of Mr. Liu Zhibai (1915---2003), in order to embody his noble and unsullied literary personality and art pursuit beyond tradition. In nearly 80 years of painting career, Liu Zhibai inherited Song, Yuan, Ming, Qing dynasties’ styles, paying attention to tradition for almost 70 years. In his later years, he learned from fate, proved tradition by nature, brought traditional method into his own use, and then became a keeper of traditional Chinese painting and a pioneer of innovation in the new century.
