New Northern School Chinese Landscape--Shi Enzhao Art Exhibition

Around 80 pieces of works will be on show in 3 exhibition halls of National Art Museum of China and huge and large-sized works are the majority. The work styles: panoramic composition, grand landscape, majestic and magnificent, exquisite in brushwork application, Eastern and Western combination, injecting new vitality to traditional northern school of Chinese landscape and establishing a brand-new northern school of Chinese landscape with time features and distinct style.
With 13 meters in length and 2.5 meter in height, Seasons Of The North, as a key work on show, presents for the first time in history of painting the change of four seasons completely in one picture, which has aroused heated discussion by several articles. In addition, there are also 3 work series: Mountains In Spring Series include 10 pieces of 1.6 or 1.2-zhang painting and depict 10 states of northern mountain in spring; the North Series include 10 pieces of 8-chi vertical painting and depict 10 big northern mountains; World Famous Mountain Series include 5 pieces of works (another 5 pieces is still in design) and depict famous mountains all over the world with new techniques. The exhibition also incorporates some exquisite landscapes of the painter created in early time, which shows Shi Enzhao’s exploration road to new northern school of Chinese landscape.
