This exhibition will display major works of Chen Xiangxun in different period of time. Since 1980s and during the evolution and development process of modern art, Chen Xiangxun has created a series of wash painting. The representative works on this show include Teaching Series, Ink and Wash Composition and Door-God Paintings In Series. Chen’s works in this stage emphasize more on image change of ink painting and inheritance of composition of a picture, showing his judgment and choice between tradition and modern for ink painting and exploration on change of visual way for wash and ink language.
