The exhibition is based on quality art works of National Art Museum of China. It is composed of three sections theme according to figures, flowers and birds, landscape of Chinese painting. It shows conversion process that the Chinese painting from the "Traditional" to "Modern" by 100 works created by six masters of Chinese painting in the 20th century—— Ren Bonian, Jiang Zhaohe, Pan Tianshou, Qi Baishi, Huang Binhong and Li Keran.
