Nowadays realistic painting has entrenched among the many trends that have emerged in today`s fragmented diaspora of art. It`s the symbol of Chinese oil painting. It was in such historical background that China Realism was established by some talented artists in Beijing.

Senior members of China Realism are revered for their abilities and extensive experience, having established themselves as spokespeople for a generation or a local region. Young members possess great talent and vast potential. In terms of the Realist language, works from China Realism cover most of the major facets and themes prevalent in Realism scene today in China.
