The Chinese Realistic Painting School holds an exhibition

Sponsored by Beijing Fine Art Academy, an exhibition is currently on display at the National Art Museum of China in celebration of the seventh anniversary of the Chinese Realistic Painting School. The exhibition is part of the Sixth Beijing International Cultural and Creative Industry Exposition.

The exhibition showcases a number of recent artworks by a total of 25 artists of the realistic school from across the country, namely, Ai Xuan, Yang Yunfei, Wang Yidong, Chen Yanning, Xu Mangyao, Liu Kongxi, Yuan Zhengyang, Guo Runwen, Wang Hongjian, Xia Xing, Zhang Li, Long Yiyou, Li Shijin, Xu Weixin, Zheng Yi, Weng Wei, Xin Dongwang, Pang Maokun, Leng Jun, Yin Xiong, Shi Liang, Li Guijun, Zhang Yibo, Zhu Chunlin and Wang Shaolun. In addition, a few artworks by Chen Yifei, the late important member of the realistic school, are on display. The exhibits are mostly realistic oil paintings totaling almost 120 artworks and reflect the overall level of the artistic creation.  

The Chinese Painting School has developed remarkably on the basis of Beijing Realistic Painting School. The school has established itself a backbone force of the contemporary Chinese oil painting creation along with increasing influence of its artists since its establishment in 2004. The school has held an exhibition once a year in order to reflect remarkable achievements and hard-working spirit of the artists.

The exhibition opens at Hall 1, 8 and 9 since Dec.21 until Dec. 29.
