1969年生于菲律宾。1990年获得菲律宾大学学士学位，并先后获得该校的硕士、博士学位。现为菲律宾国家博物馆艺术部策展人，蒂利曼（Diliman）菲律宾大学艺术研究系教授以及菲律宾国际艺术家奖评审委员会成员。同时，他也是菲律宾艺术界活跃的策展人和学者，撰写了大量关注菲律宾当代以及本土艺术的评论文章，并在许多艺术类国际会议上发表演讲。

Born in 1969, Philippines. In 1990 he got his Bachelor Degree at University of the Philippines and then he has got his Master Degree and Philosophy Degree in the same university. At present, he is the Curator, Arts Division, Philippine National Museum, professor of Department of Art Studies, University of the Philippines and member of Council of Peers, Philippine National Artist Award. Meanwhile, he is a prestigious curator and expert in art field of Philippines, devoting a large quantity of critic articles focusing on Philippines contemporary art and local context. In addition, he has attended many international forum and delivered speech about Philippines art history, art theory and art itself.
