Fujian Normal University holds an exhibition for 70th anniversary of its College of Fine Arts

Sponsored by the National Art Museum of China and Fujian Normal University, an exhibition is currently on display at Hall 13, 14 , 15, 16 and 17 since Sept. 25 until Oct. 6.
The exhibition comprises five parts. The first part is about the history of College of Fine Arts. The second exhibits a number of collections from Fujian Normal University by ancient and modern artists, including Wang Yuan, Li Dongyang, Zhou Zhimian, Lu Zhi, Shangguan Zhou and Zou Yigui. The third part displays excellent artworks by teachers of College of Fine Arts. The fourth part showcases academic achievements made by the college in the field of cultural heritage across the Straits. And the last part includes fine lacquer artworks by students of College of Fine Arts.
College of Fine Arts of Fujian Normal University was founded in 1941 by Xie Touba, famous artistic educator. The college has three bachelor disciplines, three first –class master programs, two first-class doctoral programs, one first-class post-doctoral mobile research station.
