Shi Lan presents an artistic exhibition
Shi Lan, a female artist in France, is holding a solo exhibition entitled “the poetic Orient” at Hall 6 of the National Art Museum of China until Dec.15.
The artist was graduated from the major of the oil painting of the Department of the Art, Central Saint Martins of University of the Arts London and was graduated as master of philosophy in Paris Sorbonne University. She learned from masters in France, such as Pierre Henry and Remy Aron. She has resided abroad in the past two decades, including France, UK, Italy and Japan. In the past fifteen years of her artistic journey, Shi Lan has held group or solo exhibitions in more than 40 countries, including the British Royal Museum, the Grand Palais in Paris and New Louvre Gallery. Hundreds of her artworks have been collected by collectors from European and American countries.
Breaking away from the overall style of modern artistic and political pops, Shi Lan, enthusiastic with the music, the art, has been devoted to exploring the essence of life. She has attempted to push the art to a stage of the reflection of the life and help the audience reach the high level of the spirit.
