At the age of 12, Niang Ben started to learn the Thangka art with Xia Wucai, a master of Chinese arts and crafts. He has been engaged in the painting and research of Regong Tangka art for 36 years. He has been successively listed as a representative inheritor of the national intangible cultural heritage project Regong art, and a master of Chinese arts and crafts.The exhibition shows 70 elaborate works of the Thangka art created by Niang Ben over the past 36 years, offering a gift to the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.
