Calligraphy Teaching Achievements Exhibition of Hebei Academy of Fine Arts

This exhibition is organized by the calligraphy department of Hebei Academy of Fine Arts, mirroring its reflections and responses to the objectives, approaches and methods of cultivating calligraphy talents in contemporary colleges and universities. It is a display of the teaching results of the academy in calligraphy over the past decade, and a summary and sorting of the course of calligraphy education. It is an experiment to further explore the road of calligraphy development in the contemporary era, and an answer sheet it gives to the society.
This exhibition puts on display 158 pieces of works, including 52 from teachers of the academy and other schools, as well as famous calligraphers, and 106 from students. They cover the seal script, official script, regular script, running script and cursive script, ranging from the Shang and Zhou dynasties to late Qing Dynasty. Large or small, these Chinese characters are rich and various in models and patterns.
