Sponsored by China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the Publicity Department of Party Committee of Gansu province, a traditional Chinese painting exhibition by Li Baofeng, entitled in  is currently on display at Hall 1 until Sept. 2.

Li Baofeng, born in 1938 in Liaoning province, is vice chairman of the Artists Association of Gansu province, vice president of the Art Academy of Gansu and national Class-A artist. Graduated from Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts in 1964, he decided to stay in Gansu, where he felt responsible to paint the beautiful place. Through the brushes reflects his passion to and his love for the people and the nature across the northeastern region including Xin Jiang, Tibet and Gansu. The artist traveled mountains and rivers and households in the streets.Due to his wisdom and diligence, the artist have created a series of unique paintings, such as the Tibetan people, the Xinjiang people and the market life. His works have been shown in various exhibitions in Gansu province and beyond.
