Lv Junjie holds a purple-sand artistic exhibition

Sponsored by Ministry of Culture and China Art Academy, a purple-sand artistic exhibition about Lv Junjie’s works is currently on display since March 11 to March 18, 2009 at Hall 6. As a rising artist in the purple-sand art, he intends to demonstrate the unique charm of the purple-sand art in Yixing with his rare conception and exquisite techniques.

The purple-sand teapot takes the clay as the embryo, the water as the media and the metal as the utensil and is regarded as fine works of the traditional Chinese art. Learning from his father, Lv Yaochen, a master of the contemporary Chinese arts and crafts, Lv Junjie has inherited the essence of the traditional feature his father established and put the fashionable and vital spirit into the elegant and ancient conception. Boasting solid artistic foundation, he integrated the ideas of phonology, martial art and paintings. He has established a creative style with innovation and originality. The exhibition comprises a total of 40 original works and 26 exchange works.
