The exhibition is expected to discuss several topics concerning creation by a number of the female artists in a developing China, including how to use artistic languages to find a way of the dialogue with the west and the other countries; how to present the Oriental traditional culture; how to strengthen the unique Oriental spirit under the current context and how to represent these particular cultural logic in the female art. Especially impacted by the market under the globalization background, the artists of new generation, in particular the female artists, discuss the development orientation of the contemporary Chinese art. A total of 38 exhibits cover a wide range of media forms including paintings, devices, video, filming and sculpture. Included are 12 female representatives of different generations, including Yin Xiuzhen, Yu Hong, Cui Xiuwen, Jiang Jie, Xing Danwen, Peng Wei, Song Kun, Han Yajuan and Tao Na. Great breakthrough have been made in terms of regular exhibition mode in order to boast a great diversity and variety of the creation. The exhibition, as a combination of the works of female artists rarely held in Europe or even the Western world, provides a platform to present artistic characteristics.
