Junjie Lv's Purple-Sand Art Exhibition, hosted by Chinese and Foreign Culture Exchange Center and Chinese Art Research Institute, and undertaken by Jiangsu Gaoli Group in collaboration with Jiangsu Painting Shop, will be held in National Art Museum of China located in Beijing on March 10, 2010.
Having gained direct guidance from his father, Yaochen Lv, a great master of Chinese arts and crafts, Junjie Lv is able to get the essence of traditional culture and further possess the spirit of art exploration after a gradual study and further understanding of the art. His passionate and open mind towards art creation enables him to conduct and expand frequent culture exchanges beyond the field of arts and crafts,. Based on the purposes of seeking the authentic art, and by residing his keenness in life, meditating on all things on the earth, immersing himself in the nature, and combining rhyme, martial arts and calligraphy and painting, he has created his own unique art style with a characteristic of both inheriting and innovating, low-profile and creativeness. His works have won awards for many times, popular in the art circle as well as the social public. Di’an Fan, the curator of National Art Museum of China, has once praised his purple-sand art as the crystallization of heaven, earth and human beings.
With the theme of “Original and Transcending", the exhibition will last for a period of 8 days, and show 40 pieces of original works and 26 exchange works, fully demonstrating the ways of thinking, acting and artistic disposition of the artist, further more it will draw close the relationships with the lovers of the purple-sand art and ultimately boost the development and spread of the purple-sand art.
